Greetings, fellow horror freak…
Well, here we are. For us freaky lot, the holy month is here. I’m happy to inform you that two of my flash fictions have been picked up by the awesome Sirens Call Publications for their Halloween issue at the end of the month. It’s an honour to have The Tag and The Thing Within lined up to appear in this esteemed publication, and I hope you’ll check out the issue when it hits on Halloween.
Looking back on September, and the big news was that my short story A Dying Moment won third place in the Forever Endeavour Charity Short Story Competition. I’ve been sitting on this rather odd little piece for many months, and it’s a pleasure to finally have it on display somewhere. If you’d like to take the time to dive into a mind experiencing a single, stretched second before death, then do check it out, as well as the other brilliant entries.
The final piece of news is that I’ll be doing my first live interview on Instagram on the 24th October. Swing by my feed at 8pm UK time to hear me rant and rave about all things horror. Hope to see you then!
That’s all for now, but I’ll leave you with the cryptic advice to keep your eyes open across my social media channels in the coming months, as there’s some rather exciting news on its way. No, I’ve not dug up the bodies at the bottom of my garden and propped them up in preparation for a dinner party to which I cordially invite you – that comes later. But it’s still exciting news, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Anyway, it’s always a pleasure to update you on my creepy goings on. Do hit me up on social media and let me know what horror films or books you’ve been digesting of late. I’m always eager for recommendations.
My never ending putrefying love to you all.
